We are thrilled to announce that Cecilia Schulz has emerged as the shining star in the
world of accounting by clinching the prestigious title of 6A UIL State Accounting
Champion!

Cecilia Schulz (12th) not only claimed the individual crown as the State Accounting
Champion but also led her accounting team to a stellar victory, securing the silver
medalist position! Cecilia's triumph isn't just about numbers; it's about teamwork,
resilience, and the pursuit of excellence. Together with her exceptional accounting team,
she demonstrated the power of collaboration and determination, proving that success is
sweeter when shared. The Accounting Team consists of Myriam Paredes (11th), Aaron
Sandoval (11th) and Miguel Vasquez (12th). Each member competes and is scored
individually, and the top three scores are calculated as the team score. Aaron placed
9th overall. The team is coached by Ms. Karla Salinas.

The accounting contest is an hour-long battle of wits, where 80 questions test your
mettle in the realm of accounting. From the intricate dance of balance sheets to the
precision of bank reconciliations, every element of the basic accounting cycle is put to
the test. And Cecilia conquered it all with finesse, demonstrating a mastery that left the
competition in awe!

Her journey to victory wasn't just about numbers; it was a testament to dedication,
perseverance, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Cecilia's triumph is not only a
testament to her own brilliance but also an inspiration to aspiring accountants
everywhere.
