Technology Lending Program
Requirements and Reminders for Students and Parents
- Student/Parent will be responsible for the mobile device assigned to him/her from ECISD.
- Additional software without the District's approval may not be loaded on the device.
- Do not add/remove any internal hardware including memory, hard drive, etc.
- Do not use or allow anyone to use the mobile device to view inappropriate materials, nor to engage in illegal activities. (User must abide by the District’s Acceptable Use Policy)
- Do not use this device for personal financial gain.
- Devices may be randomly checked for inappropriate use.
- The device will be returned on the designated return date.
- Any REPAIRS must be handled on-site by authorized District personnel only.
Replacement cost for lost, stolen, or damaged devices and accessories:
- Chromebook Replacement Cost $300
- iPad Replacement Cost $300
- Chromebook Charger $30
- iPad Charger (Block) $15

- Device Repair (iPad or Chromebook) $125
