Country Country (Girls)

Mission Statement

The primary mission for Edinburg Bobcats Girls’ Cross-Country program is to provide a safe and supportive environment that allows our student athletes to become successful and competitive distance runner by developing the skills, knowledge, attitude, and training ethics. These individual diverse athletes will perform a bond of unity for a common purpose and vision that promotes a lifelong and positive character presenting leadership and perseverance. Bobcat X-Country alumni runners will always leave a legacy of achievement that raises the level of expectations, excellence, and records throughout the years. 

 

Runners Goals

  • Increase volume and intensity each year according to training level
  • Build positive and personal characteristics such as discipline, respect, trustworthiness, loyalty, and commitment. 
  • Set high standards and realistic goals to challenge ourselves every day in practice and in competition.

Team Goals

  • Dedication- the desire and success in dedicating our allotted time to training.
  • No Excuses- We make choices and stay true to what needs to be done. 
  • Commitment to the team- Bond together for a common purpose and vision “To Endeavor”.

We are “All for one and one for all” and ALL is what makes us One.

  • Bring out our best everyday-Regardless of the days, feeling Up or Down, Rain or Shine, we will bring our Best and NO LESS. 

 

Bobcat Pledge

EHS X-Country teams pledge to be the most courageous Bobcat runners to endeavor academically and athletically for our EHS community and challenge ourselves beyond our abilities, not only in practice but in all aspects of my life.  EHS will never settle for satisfaction until we meet a common goal “Win”.
