Know About Us

Student membership for the Edinburg CISD is over 33,000 students and the District continues to grow at a rate of approximately 5% annually. The District offers a well balanced elementary curriculum with small classes which concentrate on strong oral and written language programs. Due to the proximity to Mexico, a bilingual program is crucial in helping many of our students cope with language and concept acquisition. The district provides a Pre-K program as well as a gifted and talented elementary program.

At Edinburg High School stakeholder feedback acts as a catalyst to provide high quality standard-based instruction for continuous improvement for all students. To ensure equity, uniformity, and transparency, we foster communication and connection with parents and the community by various modes of which include the EHS Website, Social Media Platforms, Parent Link, Direct email and direct calls, Weekly Bobcat Bulletin, Parent Meetings, Monthly parent and staff newsletters, and Superintendent's Round Table Meeting with Parents.
